Carlyle identified the existing 3-storey rental building on Maitland Street, acquired in 2022, as a prime location for a high-density, mixed-use development.
In partnership with Slate Asset Management, Carlyle has proposed the first mixed-use development in the area; two stunning high-rises connected by a commercial podium designed by BPD Quadrangle that will serve as a new gateway to the revitalized area.
As a historically industrial neighbourhood, Carlyle identified the Junction as one of Toronto’s key growth markets with the City’s announcement of the SmartTrack transit network. As vacant land, Carlyle foresaw an opportunity to reimagine the property at 6 Lloyd Avenue, acquiring the property in 2017.
Well positioned between the 501 and 504 streetcar lines and steps from two future Ontario Line transit stations, its highly-accessible downtown location makes it an excellent investment.
893 Yonge Street sits at the intersection of Yorkville and Rosedale, two of Toronto’s most iconic and affluent neighbourhoods.
